Relief at Last

We require our children to provide half the cost of their car insurance, because otherwise it's unaffordable for us. We also believe that they will value it more if they pay. Paul earned his driving permit a few years ago, but this week marked the first time that it was necessary to obtain his license. He wants a job that requires a driver's license before he even submits an application.

Last Monday, he took the driving test, passed, and came home with the "real deal." It was a milestone to have the first of our children receive their license. Last night, Paul took his first solo trips delivering children to their events. Believe me, Mom smiled broadly, too!
