Cousins
My sister Anne arrived last night from Virginia with her two young children. Her son Benjamin is only two months older than Kola, and both boys have eagerly anticipated meeting a cousin that's their same gender and age. Most of their cousins are several years older.At the airport, Benjamin and Kola looked curiously at each other and then shook hands. Then the older kids, who already know Benjamin, swarmed him and his sister. Kola stood for a moment, and then pushed his way into the crowd. A few minutes later, as we started walking to the baggage carousel, the two boys walked side by side, holding hands.
