Stahlke Adoption

Success

The four eighth-grade boys walked with me toward the music room.  We had just completed our rehearsal for the Reformation service this Sunday.  Two of my students will toll a large handbell, while the other two will use a mallet to strike a five-bell tree hung from a pole tied to their belt.  All of this is done while they process or recess through the sanctuary.

As we returned to the music room, I told the boys that the rehearsal was done.  One of them exclaimed, "Oh, really?  I want to keep playing!"

Now THAT was music to my ears!
