A Texted String Between Parents

Last-minute schedule changes are SO difficult.  Here's why:
[BTW, Mr. W__ is the father of a Concordia music student, and is tutoring David in geometry.  Mr. W__ had jury duty yesterday, but got off early and asked to tutor David on his way home.]

Jon: "Smoke on David's breath. Not yet addressed."
Mary: "Yuck"

J: "geometry at 2:45, IF I can find an AWOL son."
M: "Smoked, and then left. Double yuck"

J: "and Mr. W__ on the way..."

A few minutes later-
J: "David supposedly in tree all the time. Sarah is so imposed-on that it's impossible to tell if she actually checked.  David's with the tutor now.  On to the dentist...
M: "Oh my. Sounds like major stress to me"

J: "i might require therapy"
M: "Might?"

J: [smiley face emoji]
