Kids on the Phone
Me: "Hi, Sarah. This is Mama. How are you doing?"Sarah: "Good."
Me: "Is Papa home?"
Sarah: "Yes."
Long pause. I finally break the silence:
Me: "Can you tell him I'd like to talk to him?"
Sarah: "OK. I'll go get him."

Sarah was probably wondering why in the world I needed to know if Papa was home or not!
