LATE Freeze
In my twenty years living in Chicago, I can't remember when the first freeze was this late in the season. Today is the midpoint of November, and my tomato plants are still bearing fruit. Our first freeze is scheduled for this Saturday, so there are several more days for the tomatoes to ripen before I bring them inside.
