Postscript: Museums--Shh!
A retired friend at church was surprised that I didn't know about Yuri Gagarin. I guess I'm showing my age. On the date of his first-ever human flight into space--April 12, 1961--I was about three months old and not yet the news junkie I am now.It is interesting that his name never came up in any of my school textbooks.
